Tutto ha avuto inizio a gennaio, quando la società Jolli Allestimenti mi ha contattato per un’insegna da progettare e realizzare per la gioielleria Roberto Coin, con sede a Vicenza e boutique monomarca in tutto il mondo (it.robertocoin.com), che in marzo avrebbe esposto a Baselworld 2016, il salone di oreficeria e gioielleria famoso a livello internazionale,. Cercavano qualcuno che potesse realizzare da un loro progetto un’insegna a lettere scatolate in ottone, luminose, che però aveva un problema di posizionamento. Le sfide mi piacciono, e cercare soluzioni che traducano in concreto un’idea mi esalta. Affronto la faccenda e in breve mando loro una serie di proposte. Quello che non mi aspettavo era un invito a conoscere la loro realtà, che ancor prima di arrivare mi aspettavo interessante. Così, io e mia moglie Silvia siamo partiti per Altavilla Vicentina, sede di questa società leader nell’organizzazione di allestimenti fieristici, showrooms, eventi, mostre, esposizioni museali (www.jolliallestimenti.com). Ad attenderci abbiamo trovato il proprietario della Jolli col figlio. Siamo stati accolti con grande cortesia, e da subito l’impressione che mi sono fatto è quella di una straordinaria squadra di esperti col talento e l’ingegno che solo noi italiani possediamo. Con me avevo portato alcuni campioni perché, potessero capire meglio il tipo di lavoro che gli stavo proponendo. So di essere uno scrupoloso, amo far bene le cose e riuscire in quello che faccio: forse mi sono detto, sono la persona che stanno cercando. E forse sì, perché la commissione l’ho avuta! Io e Silvia siamo tornati a casa felici e soddisfatti. Mi sono gettato a capofitto nel lavoro rispettando i tempi e realizzando alla fine un’insegna perfetta.

It all began in January when the Jolli Allestimenti company reached me out to design and realise a sign for the Roberto Coin jewelry store in Vicenza.
Roberto Coin is worldwide known as a one brand boutique (it.robertocoin.com) and the following March it would have exposed my sign by taking part in “Baselworld 2016”, an internationally known goldsmith and jewelry fair.
They were  looking for someone that, from a project they already had, could create bright brass channel letters. Their project had issues with the positioning of the sing though, but I like challenges and looking for solutions that translate an idea into a concrete item always excites me.
So I deal with it and in a short space of time I send them a couple of submissions.
I certainly did not expect an invitation to actually get to know their reality – which I already believed to be interesting before even getting there.
So we left, my wife Silvia and I, to Altavilla Vicentina, which happens to be the headquarters of Jolli Allestimenti, head company in the organization of fairs, showrooms, events and expositions (www.jolliallestimenti.com).
Waiting for us there were the owner of Jolli and his son.
We were received with extreme courtesy and from the very beginning I had the impression that they were a fantastic team of experts with such a talent and brilliance that only us Italians have.
I had brought with me a couple of samples in order to let them understand better what kind of work I was offering them.
I know I am meticulous: I love doing my job well and succeed in what I do. So I told myself that maybe I was the one they were looking for. And I was right, because I eventually got commissioned to create the sign!
Silvia and I went back home happy and satisfied.

Without wasting any time, I dived into the project and met the deadlines by creating and delivering the perfect sign.
