Nella storia di Pubblishop gli espositori hanno rappresentato a lungo uno dei prodotti di punta all’interno del ventaglio delle nostre creazioni ed è per questo motivo che è stato per noi un piacere poterne realizzare ben due modelli per un brand importante come Acer, commissionatoci dall’agenzia di marketing Circular Agency (www.circular.is); gli oggetti in questione sono entrambi espositori per notebook distribuiti in tutto il mondo, che puntano ad esaltare il contrasto di colori e la regolarità delle forme geometriche e che possiedono delle peculiarità che ne hanno trasformato la realizzazione in una sfida che siamo stati lieti di affrontare.
La particolarità del primo espositore, realizzato in due misure, dipende dal fatto che è stato ricavato da una lastra di plexiglas fatta produrre appositamente in versione bicolor bianco opaco e verde lucido e che consiste in un unico pezzo piegato in due punti, con logo Acer in plexiglas verde lucido applicato in rilievo sul lato bianco.
Il secondo espositore è stato invece realizzato con la prerogativa di rispecchiare la categoria superiore del notebook al quale sarebbe stato assegnato e per questo motivo l’attenzione è stata posta tanto sulla scelta dei materiali – ecopelle nera e logo in rilievo in ottone -, quanto sulla semplicità e sull’eleganza delle linee, ben sottolineate dalla presenza di due soli supporti in plexiglas nero paralleli tra loro e posti al centro dell’espositore.

In the history of Pubblishop, display stands have always represented one of our flagship products. For this very reason, we were very pleased to create two items for an important brand such as Acer. The project was commissioned by the marketing agency Circular Agency (www.circular.is) and it includes two different display stands for laptops, distributed worldwide, which focus on bringing out color contrast and the symmetry of geometric shapes; moreover, their peculiarities made the creation process an interesting challenge.
The main feature of the first display stand, available in two different sizes, is that it has been obtained from a plexiglass sheet, made specifically for this purpose in two-tones — opaque white and bright green —; it consists of a one-piece sheet folded in two points, with a raised bright green Acer logo made of plexiglass on the white side.
The second display stand’s prerogative was to reflect the higher specifications of the laptop it was designed for. This is why we mainly focused on the choice of materials — black artificial leather and brass for the logo— as well as on the elegance and the simplicity of its lines. The latter are well highlighted by the presence of only two parallel supports in black plexiglass, placed in the middle of the display stand.
