È stato un vero piacere lavorare per il dottor Roberto Naldi all’insegna dell’Hôtel Splendide Royal di Parigi, ultimo nato della Roberto Naldi Collection, l’importante Gruppo di hotel di lusso che esprime al meglio lo stile e il gusto italiano (http://www.robertonaldicollection.com).  Una perla, dunque, che si aggiunge ai cinque hotel di Roma e Lugano. L’hotel parigino si trova al 18 di rue du Cirque, nel cuore di Parigi, a pochi passi dagli Champs Elysées, dal museo del Louvre e dal Grand Palais (http://www.robertonaldicollection.com/ita/splendide_parigi/home.htm).

È grazie al signor Emanuele Di Pasquale, Sales & Marketing Manager dell’Hotel Splendide Royal di Lugano, che ho avuto l’occasione di poter collaborare a questo grande progetto (http://www.splendide.ch). Le ragioni che ci hanno fatto incontrare sono state la comune ricerca artigianale e la cura per il dettaglio. Sono andato personalmente a Parigi per il sopralluogo in luglio, e sono tornato ad ottobre per soprintendere alla collocazione dell’insegna, cosa che è stata particolarmente apprezzata. Per l’occasione ho incontrato il dottor Roberto Naldi, il direttore dell’Hotel di Lugano dottor Giuseppe Rossi, e quello di Parigi Max-Michel Grand. Sono stato accolto con entusiasmo e si sono dimostrati interessati a lavorare ancora insieme in un prossimo futuro. Sapersi apprezzati è sempre gratificante. Ogni oggetto è particolare e porta con sé problemi da risolvere. Questa volta è stato la fonte luminosa dell’insegna, non essendo possibile realizzare lettere luminose di piccole dimensioni contenenti moduli led all’interno, ma l’esperienza e l’ingegno mi hanno portato presto alla migliore soluzione. Il lavoro è particolarmente piaciuto e vederlo inserito nel suo contesto è stato bello. Questo hotel è davvero splendido e penso che regalerà momenti piacevoli a chi sarà ospitato. Per me, è stata anche l’occasione per tornare a Parigi e vivere l’atmosfera grandeur di questa incantevole città.

It was a real pleasure working for Mr. Roberto Naldi to realise the sign for the Hôtel Splendide Royal in Paris, last added to the “Roberto Naldi Collection”, the important luxury Hotel Chain that best expresses the Italian style (http://www.robertonaldicollection.com).  A real gem added to the 5 hotels in Rome and Lugano.
The Parisian hotel is located at n°18 Rue du Cirque, right in the heart of Paris and near to the Champs Elysées, the Louvre Museum and the Grand Palais.

The reasons that led us to meet were the shared research for the handcrafted material and the attention for the details.
I went personally to Paris in July to survey the place and I went back again in October to attend the positioning of the sign I had made. My presence was highly appreciated and in that occasion I had the chance to meet Mr. Roberto Naldi himself, the Manager of the Hotel in Lugano, Mr. Giuseppe Rossi and Mr. Max-Michel Grand, Manager of the Parisian branch of the chain.
I was greeted with enthusiasm and they were keen on collaborating again in the future.
Being appreciated is always satisfying.
Every single object is unique and it always has a particular challenge to deal with. This time it was all about the bright source of the sign: it was not possible for me to realize small bright letters with led lights in them, but I managed to get to the best solution through my experience and my hard work.
The sign was extremely appreciated and seeing it positioned in its context was nice.
This hotel is really beautiful and I think it will give a lot of enjoyable moments to whoever will stay there.
For me, personally, it has also been a chance to go back to Paris and experience the grandeur atmosphere of this fascinating city.
